Group Contract

The group’s overall goal for the project is to create an audio and video clip that accurately represents our subject’s story. At this time we have yet to interview our subject but we intend to to have a well rounded interview that will allow the subject to give us a wide range of information to work with.
Our questions range from simple inquiries about her life now, interests, and family to questions about her past life in Colombia. If the interview goes according to our plan we will have a lot of audio to work with in order to create our subjects story.
Each member expects the same level of effort in this project and puts it in high priority to make sure we create a video that accurately represents the subject’s story.
Members so far have communicated fairly well regarding roles and expectations in this project so we plan to continue with communication as a way to make sure our group standards are met and that things are getting done.
As for encouraging ideas, so far our group has worked well with bouncing ideas off each other. We will continue to brainstorm and openly communicate like we have been.

Group Procedures:

We are using the iMovie program for the project
We are going to organize and share files primarily through the google drive and email
Files will be name with accordance to the date they were worked on.
- For example: Refugee_Project10-17
We will go to the library to work on the project for the most part. Days and times will be planned in accordance with our class schedules.
We are going to communicate through group messaging and email

Personal Accountability:

Each group member is expected to put in the same amount of time and effort as each other. Group members are to attend any meetings or interviews held so no one is missing any important information.
Any additional information needed from one group member to another is expected to be delivered upon request. Each group member must provide a valid way of communication, whether that is a text message or email.
If there is an instance where a group member fails to contribute to any of these aspects of our group contract, that person will be addressed by the other group members and other measures may be taken to resolve the issue.
