GARY PAOLUCCI
I Am From Poem
I am from shores north of Boston
Raised in a sheltered suburbia
I am from a great family
Dad, Mom, Matthew, and John
Our home has welcoming arms
I am from classic Italian roots
So the best room was the kitchen
I am from amazing home cooked cuisine
Aromas fluttering through the house
I am from Pasta and Pizza
The staples of my tasteful memories
I am from a room that I could call my own
Where the ocean blue carpet
Painted the sky blue walls
I am from a creative mind
Building boats to float
And airplanes to fly
My Lego blocks were endless
With Imagination combined
I am from great ancestry
I am from great friendships
My Papa was a wise man
And very funny too
He told me family comes first
And it always will indeed
But what happens when friends are family?
Because my family would not disagree
I am thankful for a good life brought upon me
I am thankful for all those who have been apart of my life
I am from the shores north of Boston
Living in a now open world
